What will you be doing in the videogames sessions.

> Four weeks of lessons in G20
> Some hands-on gameplay using consoles
> Lots of analysis of games
> Representation of Competition and Conflict

**No need to be a gameplayer to do well in this unit - ample chances to play in class and you can analyse others’ play


This unit should allow people to draw upon their existing knowledge.

• How it is tested

> in the same exam as Action films, 45 min essay prepared choice of two games negotiated with us, lots of practice in advance of exam.

game players, in a different relationship with games to other media forms- more interactivity. Average age 29, majority male
